Mike Rosenbaum for Maryland Launches 6-Figure Digital Buy to Spotlight Job Creation & Economic Plan
Rosenbaum’s bold plan would create opportunity for 250,000+ Marylanders, including 100,000 African American families, make record investments in removing barriers to good-paying jobs, and increase Maryland’s wraparound support for those in need
BALTIMORE, MD — Today, Mike Rosenbaum for Maryland launched its first digital ad buy of the 2022 campaign to spotlight Mike’s plan to provide opportunity for 250,000 people, raise wages, and empower Marylanders across the state with investments in universal child care and transportation. The ad buy represents the first major expenditure of the Maryland gubernatorial campaign and will be delivered on social media and connected TV platforms.
“Mike has spent his career focused on finding solutions to the challenges facing Marylanders who simply want to earn enough to raise a family but feel beaten down by a system that makes it harder and harder to get ahead. He believes that every person should have economic security, regardless of where they started in life or what struggles they may have encountered along the way,” said Mike Rosenbaum for Maryland Campaign Manager, Travis Tazelaar. “We know that Marylanders are looking for candidates who understand how to make our state’s economy work for them. Transform Maryland is a bold and detailed plan that demonstrates why Mike is the best qualified person to deliver on the change we need right now.”
About Transform Maryland
Transform Maryland is Mike’s bold, innovative plan to move over 250,000 Marylanders, including 100,000 African American families, into good-paying careers – opportunities many don’t currently have. It will create jobs in health care, technology, skilled trades, and specialized manufacturing, and raise wages by more than $38,000 per year on average regardless if a person went to college or has any prior experience.
Transform Maryland builds upon what is required to help more Marylanders access opportunity and good-paying careers. That’s why everyone enrolled will receive at least $15 an hour, have access to affordable childcare, and benefit from real investments in public transit. It will grow our economy and create more revenue to invest in key priorities like K-12 education and mass transit while we move more Marylanders into good-paying jobs at the same time.
